Inter-Club Visitations and Mileage Contests
- A minimum of three (3) members constitute an official visitation. A
District Governor, Vice District Governor, Region Chairman or Zone Chairman
when visiting a club in their official capacity, may not be counted as one
of the visitation group.
- Mileage is determined by the one-way distance, for one car, to the
visitation point. NO mileage out of the District will be considered it the
District being visited is not adjoining District 4-C1.
- Points for visitation are to be figured using the following formula:
Number of Lions on visit, times the miles driven, divided
by the number of active Lions on the MMR report for which the visitation is
reported.
(The District Official Mileage chart will be used.)
EXAMPLE:
4 Lions
made a visitation driving 100 miles. MMR showed
40 active
members.
4 x 100
÷ 40 = 10 points earned for the visitation.
- Reporting visitation must be on the MMR; secretary must include: date,
club visited, and number of Lions visiting.
- There will be a first and second place in each division. (see TOP CLUB
AWARD for Division categories.)
- NOTE: Only ONE (1) visit to each club can be counted per year.
- Contest to start April 1st and end March 31st prior to the District
Convention. Information to be taken from the club MMR report.
