| The Mane Lion - the District's official newsletter - has information for all of the Lions in District 4-C1 and is mailed (both on paper and electronically) at the beginning of each month to the following:

From your editor… With the new year approaching and new officers
elected I would like to ask each club to send me either by email or snail mail a
new roster of club members. Please make sure all email addresses are on
the list. With this I can up date emails and pick up new members.
This coming year I would like to receive one from each club. Last year
when I asked I didn’t even receive one from half the clubs in the district.
I know each club has one so please Thanks!
SubmissionsAnyone wishing to have items published in a future edition of the newsletter is urged to provide it at least one full month prior to publication in order to facilitate insertion. General information about club activities will be reported free of charge on a space available basis. Zone/Region Chairs and District Committees are encouraged to take full advantage of the newsletter (and this website!) to keep District 4C-1 informed about what is happening in your area. The deadline for regular articles is the 20th of each month (except April when the deadline is Monday after convention); items for the website are accepted anytime. If you would like to have a copy mailed to you, please contact the Mane Lion Editor at the address below. A $5 per year donation is eagerly accepted to help defray cost of postage. Quarter page and business card sizes are available in most issues of the newsletter. Other sizes will be published on a space available basis and may be preempted by district activities. The Mane Lion may, in some instances, waive fees for new club charters and anniversary celebrations.
